This year we tried a new format to gain funds for our group: a sponsored bike ride taking in three parks.

The ride started near Treptower Park S-Bahn station. After a tour of the first park, we proceeded along the banks of the Spree and then along the Landwehrkanal. We rode along Graefenstraße and through the second park, Hasenheide. From there we pedalled along Columbia Damm, stopping briefly at the little-known Columbia-Haus Denkmal. After crossing the road, we entered the Tempelhofer Feld, cycled to the Paradestraße exit, took a detour through the much sought-after Flieger Viertel, and then on to the Hunger Hake at Platz-der-Luftbrücke for some photos. Finally we made a complete circuit of the Tempelhofer Feld, riding along the former runways, and finishing at the café near the main entrance.
